I created these thank you cards in advance for Karen, and she used them on her wedding day. What a great idea! Congratulations Karen and Jeremy!

I am in love with this technique! Mind you, I still need the smaller mesh, to get the true crispness required for a perfect invitation. That said, I can now create wording for you on dark papers, with light ink… I can print on photographs. I can print on birch invitations, such as the blue and cherry blossom invitation you see here. The possibilities are almost unlimited, as long as the surface is flat, and the design fits on a 11×14 area. (Which, of course, is excessive for an invitation.)
I am excited about this tool, because it is offers something Sarnia does not see a whole lot – the versatility of creating invitations on something other than just paper, and the versatility of creating affordable invitations on dark papers. Enjoy!

Most people are using tools like this for shirts. I want it for all of the things I can do with it in my business….
Later today, I will be playing around with printing invitations onto darker papers. Which I am SO excited about. In the meantime, these are some projects I created with my first screen and my logo. I also did a small logo on a shirt, which is drying.
I currently have about 8 colors – wine, aqua and olive, black and white, silver, gold and gunmetal bronze…
I will be able to create my own gift bags, and bachelorette party t-shirts. I can design gift boxes with the couple’s names on them, or a monogram…. basically the options are endless on two dimensional projects!
These are a little smudgey. But given the learning curve I was expecting, I think not too bad for my first day of use.
Jenny came to me last week with her Mom, and we enjoyed a wonderful consultation. Her colours are a strong, deep purple, with a hint of fresh green. The following are the mock ups I have created, as I like to provide my brides with at least four custom invitations in their colours to choose from. The next phase is to discuss these, find which elements work for her and her fiance, and make sure that her invitation is a perfect reflection of their wedding day.
I am so ahead of the game this year!
I have created ten different Christmas cards for the upcoming season (I know, I know, we aren’t even through Thanksgiving, or Halloween). I wanted you to have the opportunity to order in October, so I can create them in November, so you can mail them in December.
All cards are $4.50 each, or 20 cards for $75 (a savings of $15). Mix and match as you would like – Let me know which card you want, and how many of each. I have not even posted these yet, and I already have orders rolling in. Some girls only want 20 of one style, others want a half a dozen of a few each. I really do not mind how you want to order them, as long as you let me know by November first what you would like. This is the one of the rare times when orders are not customizable. Cards will be created in their current colours, with the same messages inside as what I have posted.
Merry Christmas! *Please email all order requests to verityink@gmail.com*
